Quicken Conversion
You will need to modify your Quicken settings to ensure a smooth transition of your data. You will need your Online User ID and password to complete this process.
The entire process takes an estimated 20-25 minutes. During this process you will be instructed to make a backup of your current data file, install any Quicken updates if necessary, and then re-establish your connection between ASE Credit Union and Quicken.
It is imperative that you execute the following instructions exactly as described and in the order presented. If not, your service may stop functioning as desired.
There are two ways Quicken interacts with ASE Credit Union.
- Web Connect (WC) - is simply, a way you can download your transactions directly from the ASE Credit Union website and import them into Quicken. In this case, there is no real communication going on between your Quicken software and your credit union account.
- Express Web Connect (EWC) or Quicken Connect on the Mac - Quicken communicates directly with your credit union account. You don't have to sign into the credit union's website and manually download transactions - Quicken does this for you.
How do I know which method I'm using?
- Windows - choose the Tools menu then select Account List. Click Edit next to your account, then choose the Online tab at the top.
- Mac - choose your account on the left, then click the Settings button on the right, at bottom. Your connection type will be listed at the bottom (you may need to scroll down to see it).
