Starting May 1, 2025, the CO-OP Shared Branch Network is adding a level of account security, protecting you from account takeover fraud. 

IDCheck by CO-OP is a new tool designed to enhance security and streamline identity verification for Shared Branching transactions when visiting another state. This verifies that you are trying to access your account, not an imposter. 

When you arrive at a Shared Branch location, visit verify.coop.org and simply follow these steps:

1. Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org before you arrive. 
2. Select your credit union’s name from the drop-down list. 
3. Enter your member number and the last four digits of your social security number.
4. Upload a photo of your ID and take a selfie. Save your validation to expedite this process for your next visit.
5. Show your one-time passcode to the teller. Passcode is only valid for 20 minutes.
